其實我不太知道怎麼去解釋jealousy這個字
在英英字典中
jealousy
就是
a feeling of being jealous
ex: I felt sick with jealousy
an action or a remark that shows that a person is jealous
ex: I’m tired of her petty jealousies.

jealous
就是
feeling angry or unhappy because sb you like or love is showing interest in sb else
ex: He’s only talking to her to make you jealous.
wanting to keep or protect sth that you have because it makes you feel proud
ex: They are very jealous of their good reputation (= they do not want to lose it).
feeling angry or unhappy because you wish you had sth that sb else has
ex: She’s jealous of my success.
